Grounded in practice.
Guided by compassion.
A yoga teacher, licensed massage therapist, and lifelong student of what it means to feel at home in a body.
For Serafina, yoga began as a way to move. Over time, it became a way to listen—to her own strength, to her intuition, and to the possibility of meeting life with more steadiness.
That experience shaped a love of teaching. After years of guiding yoga students, she expanded into massage therapy, bringing together movement, touch, and relaxation in a deeply personal practice.

A session begins with you.
Not a routine.
Serafina is interested in the way everyday movement patterns show up as tension. Her work makes room for noticing those patterns, exploring what feels supportive, and finding moments of release. For someone seeking rest, her background in guided relaxation brings a slower, quieter kind of care.
A curious mind.
An attentive presence.
Serafina’s approach is shaped by ongoing study in breathwork, trauma-informed practices, meditation, anatomy and physiology, and restorative yoga.
Her additional bodywork training includes Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Thai Massage, and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. These are areas of training; available appointments are listed separately in Square.
Away from the studio, Serafina is also a nanny to her nephews, Paul and Rocco. Care and connection are part of her everyday life, as well as her work.

From a yoga mat
to a healing practice.
A practice that became a path.
Serafina first came to yoga looking for a workout. What unfolded reached further than physical exercise: a growing sense of strength, a connection to her own intuition, and a different way of relating to the challenges in her life.
As her practice deepened, she found that she loved sharing it. Teaching became a way to help others explore their own capacity for steadiness and well-being, through the discipline and discovery of yoga.
Learning to listen through touch.
After years of teaching, Serafina chose to study massage therapy so she could offer another form of support. She completed her massage training at Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2022 and continued exploring the relationship between everyday movement, tension, and the way a body feels.
That curiosity remains central to her work. She enjoys helping clients notice habitual movement patterns and bringing their own experiences into the conversation. For someone seeking a quieter session, her background in guided relaxation offers another way to settle into rest.
Room to keep growing.
Her yoga training began with a 200-hour program at Inhale Yoga Pgh in 2016 and continued with a 300-hour program through the Kaivalya Yoga Method Academy in 2023. She holds the E-RYT 500 designation and continues learning through study in breathwork, trauma-informed practices, meditation, anatomy and physiology, and restorative yoga.
Additional training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Thai Massage, and Cranio-Sacral Therapy has broadened the tools she brings to her practice. At The Healing Spot, those experiences come together in care that makes space for both the body and the person living in it.

A practice that holds space for the whole person.
